Distance from Vineyard to Winery
Little Sister Sauvignon Blanc is crafted in a French style, inspired by a crisp yet opulent Sancerre. The nose is distinctly earthy, with lemon and floral notes lifted by a touch of sea breeze and the varietal’s signature sauvage character. This expressive aroma transitions to a palate of bright, clean citrus flavors, complemented by flinty minerality and a mid-palate hint of tart pineapple, passion fruit, and subtle salinity. The finish is crisp, long, and lingering—a signature of Halleck Vineyard wines—making it perfect for warm days and light, fresh dishes.
Winemaking
This wine was fermented in steel tanks and 20% of the total spent three weeks in neutral oak. There was no malolactic fermentation. After fermentation, all wine was tank aged until bottling.
