Dog friendly … Oliver loved it! Such a lovely winery. Truly has cozy family atmosphere. Excellent Gewurztraminer 👌 Jen is fantastic (Frankie the pup too)!

A friend had booked us a tasting experience at Halleck and its easily one of our top tasting experiences yet! The property is beautiful with a nice little open area and views for days! Even the drive through the trees feels enchanted.

David was the best. He took us on a journey and you could tell he knew his stuff. We also had a chance to meet one of the owners which was a nice bonus. The experience itself is intimate because you're with multiple people at your table but you get to experience it together. The food pairings were also delicious.

Ok wine time. This was THE best Gewürztraminer I've ever had. Like, you could have a bottle of this easily on your own. We even took a few home to try with Indian food, and it was delicious. Another hit was their Zin which was interestingly like a strawberry rose but again, very easy and tasteful to drink.

I cannot wait to go back because I need more of that Gewürztraminer!

AMAZING wines and absolutely fabulous hostess for our tasting! My husband and I visited Halleck for his birthday and scheduled a tasting at the vineyard with Alison. The location is beautiful and the wines were spectacular! Alison prepared a wonderful pairing of wines with cheeses and chocolate and shared all kinds of interesting information about the wines and vineyard. We purchased a case of wine - which included a dry Gewurztraminer that surprised and delighted! (we normally do not like Gewurztraminer but theirs is truly dry and so full of flavor that we bought several bottles to ship home) We also joined the wine club and cannot wait to see what other wonderful wines the Hallecks produce. We are really picky about wine (especially pinots!) and were more than impressed with the quality and flavor. We are excited to be a part of the Halleck club!

Incredible, unique and “off the beaten path” are words/phrases I’d certainly use to describe our tasting last weekend at Halleck. Harris was incredibly knowledge and informative – about the property, and just the history of the area. The wines were interesting and exceptional. I’m not sure if I’ve ever tasted a domestic gewurztraminer! I’m not sure I’ve ever had a rose of zinfandel either! We enjoyed every single wine we tasted. So much so that we joined the club! We’re in East Bay so a quick 1 hour drive for us. Looking forward to our next tasting!
