It is a youngster, with bright acids and fine crisp tannins. It leads with tart pomegranate and underpinnings of fresh cranberry. The middle palate only hints of its earthiness you can sense in your nose. It will come. There is a depth that promises astounding expression. It lingers, front, middle and back, for minutes after the first sip. It is bright, suggesting the elevation from which it hales. And it is complex, displaying its heritage. It was a great vintage. There is nothing that suggests this wine will not develop accordingly.
